Mid-morning Broadcaster.
Doing daily live speech radio was both interesting, and challenging. I enjoyed organising guests, creating show content, and being involved in managing new ideas and stories that would engage the listener.

Presenting my own daily live day-time show gave me the opportunity to really connect with the listeners and get them involved in the show. Scripting, editing, booking guests, creating show content and being able to adapt to changing situations live on air was extremely rewarding. I was also given the chance to broadcast my show live from Thailand where I also booked and sourced guests to interview on a variety of topics.

At the beginning of 2004 I moved from the breakfast show to afternoon drive time.

Breakfast Show/Co-Presenter
Broadcasting a live daily Breakfast show was a huge learning curve. Thinking on your feet, using creative flair, pre-empting what the nation would be talking about that day, while ensuring the continued smooth running of the show was a challenge I relished.

During my time on the breakfast show I along with my colleague were awarded the Guardian Media Groups "Breakfast Show of the year Award". We also travelled to Memphis to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Elvis's death. Broadcasting live every morning from the USA was challenging and rewarding.

I've also worked with radio legend and "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" winner Tony Blackburn. It was quite an experience, co-presenting with Tony and it's something I'll never forget.

Speaking to the listeners live on air about their plans for Saturday night and what music they wanted to hear was one of the highlights of the show.

Breakfast Show/Co-Presenter
This was my first experience of an early morning breakfast show. I soon learned to adlib, cope with changing situations live on air, and work with a co-presenter to create a engaging and funny radio.

Presenter-Saturday Night Music Show.
This was my first Radio show. Broadcast live on a Saturday night, it was baptism by fire but gave me an insight into the world of radio.
